This is what happens when you have too much time on your hands on Sunday morning . This is less of a recipe and more of a kid’s art project.

The What: 
  • 3 hardboiled eggs (yolks and whites separated)
  • Round bread

The Ying:

  • 1 squeeze of yellow mustard
  • 1 pinch of curry powder
  • 1 pinch of paprika
  • 1 pinch of turmeric powder
  • 2 squeezes of mayo
  • The yolks of the hard boiled eggs

The Yang:

  • 2 squeezes of mayo
  • 1 pinch black pepper
  • 1 pinch crushed coriander seeds
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • The whites of the hard boiled eggs, diced

 

The How: 

In one bowl combine all the ying ingredients together : mustard, curry powder, paprika, turmeric powder, mayo and yolks.  Using a fork, mush together the ingredients until they form a paste.

In a separate bowl combine the yang ingredients: mayo, black pepper, coriander seeds, salt, and egg whites. Using a different fork, mush these ingredients together.

Toast the bread. Empty the Ying bowl onto one side of the bread and the Yang bowl on the other side. With your fork sculpt the ying yang symbol, take a small piece of each and place it in the center of the opposite side.

Eat!
