1/2 stick of unsalted butter
10 basil leaves
1 teaspoon salt
1 clove garlic
Grated Parmesan cheese to taste
Place the butter, basil, salt, and garlic in an blender and blend until smooth. Or you can chop the basil and garlic finely and use room temperature butter.
Place the corn in water and once it begins to boil, turn off the heat and cover. Put a timer on for 5 minutes. I like my corn al dente. If you prefer your corn a little softer, give it another 5 minutes.
Apply butter mixture to corn while still hot and top with parmesan cheese. And now you can say you are eating a corny Italian.
