– 2 tablespoons butter ⁣
– 3 tablespoons vegetable oil ⁣
– 1/2 cup popcorn kernels ⁣
– 1/4 cup brown sugar (tightly packed) ⁣
– 1 teaspoon vanilla paste (optional) ⁣
– Pinch of salt ⁣

Place the butter and vegetable oil in a pot over high heat. Once the butter has melted add the popcorn kernels and cover. ⁣


⁣Once you hear the first pop, open the pot, add the brown sugar, give it a quick mix with a spoon and cover.⁣

Remove the pot from the heat, shake, and place back on the heat every 15 to 20 seconds until the popping stops. ⁣
