Sprinkles make everything better; these blondies are no exception. Gooey, chewy, and unapologetically colorful, these funfetti blondies are easy to make and irresistible.

The What:
  • 1/2 cup butter (1 stick)
  • 1 cup light brown sugar, tightly packed
  • 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/8 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1/2 cup sprinkles
The How: 

Preheat the oven to 350 degrees and butter the pan you will make the blondies in. The bigger the pan, the thinner the blondies, the smaller the pan, the fatter the blondies; you choose.

Place the butter, brown sugar, vanilla, and salt in a bowl and mix with a wooden spoon or spatula until they form a paste.

Add the egg and mix until fully combined.

Mix in the the flour, baking powder, and 1/8 of a tablespoon of baking soda.  If you haven’t noticed before, that is an actual measuring spoon that exists. But if you don’t have one simply add a tiny pinch.

Add the sprinkles, saving a few tablespoons to top the blondies with (optional). Gently stir in the sprinkles and empty into the buttered pan.

Sprinkle the top with sprinkles and bake for 20-22 minutes. Let cool in the pan completely before cutting.
